The Volvo Penta FWD Drive Type K Hardware Kit is a complete OEM mounting and retention system designed specifically for Volvo Penta Forward Drive (FWD) Duoprop applications. Engineered for durability and precision fitment, the kit secures both the front and rear stainless-steel Type K propellers while optimizing performance, vibration control, and long-term driveline reliability.

As shown in the exploded diagram, the system includes the propeller cone, front and rear propeller nuts, hex socket screws, and Volvo Penta’s patented flow deflector. The flow deflector helps reduce pressure and wear on the propeller shaft seals while improving water flow efficiency around the propeller assembly.
